Kevin Flynn
Kevin and Carol married in Arlington, Texas in 1984 and have progressively moved North and/or East throughout their marriage.
Kevin and his wife Carol joined Calvary in October of 2002 along with their children, Andrew and April.
In 2002, the Flynn’s had recently moved to Glasgow because of Kevin’s job. He is a Mechanical Engineer working as Engineering Manager for Sumitomo for the past 29 years.
Since joining Calvary, Kevin has served as Small Group leader, led a mission trip, and served as Deacon. Kevin currently teaches a Life Group class and serves on the Church Council, specifically overseeing operations.
Kevin’s testimony:
I was saved in college after attending a Carmen concert. At the time, I was overwhelmed with being separated from God because of my sin and spending eternity apart from Him. I trusted Christ as the only way I could come before Him and experience His forgiveness, love, and mercy in my life. At that time, I committed to spend my life serving and following Him. I am grateful for how He continues to bless me each day.
Kevin’s favorite verse is Proverbs 3:5-6.
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”
