Becky Austin
Mrs. Becky Austin is an integral part of Calvary Baptist. She has lived in Barren County her entire life, with the exception of 8 weeks in Oklahoma. Becky has been married to Joe Austin for over 50 years. They have two sons, Joseph & John, seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Becky began attending Calvary with Joe when they married and was saved and baptized a year later.
Known in the office as the church encyclopedia, Becky has served Jesus through the life of Calvary in a multitude of ways, namely as the Administrative Assistant. After serving full-time for 28 years, she retired in 2016 and later came back part-time in 2021.
She also serves as the church clerk, as she has done since 1985.
She has also served on three Pastor Search teams, Nursery director for 15 years, Nominating, Stewardship, Church Council, Wednesday Night Supper Team, VBS, Preschool Mission Friends, Long-Range Planning, Sunday morning greeter, and Indian Family Camp in Montana.
Mrs. Becky’s favorite verse is 2 Corinthians 12:9
“My grace is sufficient for you, my power is made perfect in weakness.”
